Missions and Responsibilities
The Legal Counsel will provide legal support to the Company and the Central South Europe affiliates notably in corporate, commercial law and compliance topics. As part of the Legal Team, you will work in close cooperation with the in house legal counsels, and will provide legal advice to business. The portfolio of tasks and responsibilities will be broad, ranging from corporate and contracts law to compliance and legal operations. This job is an ideal position for young lawyers to gather experience and grow – in a very successful, international Group.

As a Legal Counsel, you will mainly:

    • Provide legal support for corporate housekeeping and reorganisations;
    • Draft and negotiate contracts;
    • Draft, review and maintain precedent documents and templates;
    • Handle contract disputes with third parties;
    • Support in drafting guidelines and policies;
    • Provide support in compliance cases including Personal Data Protection, GDPR, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption compliance;
    • Support internal processes operated by the Legal Team (e.g. insurance, roll-out of contracts, managing of legal master data and register filings);
    • Contact local administrations, in coordination with the given manager, prepare and follow-up filings (such as permit applications, customs and tax clearances…), receive documents, obtaining information and explanations, as need be;
    • Following procedures before local courts, assisting in house counsels and external law firms with the preparation of court proceedings


Competencies and Profile
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law and qualified to practice law in Turkey;
  • Relevant work + 4 years experience (excluding the internship period) in law firm or in-house in an international company would be a plus;
  • Excellent verbal and written English;
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and rigorous person.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and “can do” attitude;
  • Reliable and discreet team player
